The Present Word: ‘Worship in the Covenant Community’

The Present Word is a quarterly resource for adult Bible study that dives deep into God’s Word. It is designed by an ecumenical collaborative so that participants in multiple denominations are studying the same passages at the same time. 

The goal of The Present Word is to engage in study of Scripture to discover its deeper meaning for our world today. 

This Fall we are studying ‘Worship in the Covenant Community’ which uses varied texts from Hebrew scriptures to look at early forms of worship in the Old Testament, including the "Hebrew Hymnbook" now found in our Bible as the Book of Psalms. We invite and encourage everyone to join in for any or all sessions.
