Hear Judge Gilbert A. Smith, Jr. talk about local history and the lawyers and legends of Manatee County. Did you know that Manatee County was created in 1855 and Bradenton did not become the county seat until 1888 when it was known as Braidentown? Or that until 1954, the most popular way to travel from Bradenton to Palmetto or Anna Maria Island was by ferry? Learn more details about these and other interesting facts by attending our free event open to the community.

Gather in Fellowship Hall at 6:30 pm for dessert and coffee and to get settled for the 7 pm start. Sign-up in the Narthex or call the church office (941-792-3141) to reserve your spot.
