Thursdays 2:00 – 3:00 pm
January 13 – February 17, 2021
Location – Fellowship Hall

This five-session class is led by Betty Bashaw and Marilynn Gillette, and is based on Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White: Thoughts on Religion, Morality, and Politics by Adam Hamiliton. Facemasks are required and social distancing is practiced.

The class is designed to help Christians look at issues in today’s world in light of our Christian faith. Its purpose is to engage thoughtful Christians in dialogue and self-examination on the political, moral and religious issues that divide us. Participants will be encouraged to listen, learn, make their voices heard, and to love those with whom they disagree.

Please sign up for the class by calling the church office (941) 792-3141, as the group will be limited to 15 people.

Reading the book will enrich your learning and participation in discussions, but is not required. Please order your own book, available in paperback (new and used) and on Kindle at Amazon. The reading for first class is the Introduction and Chapters 1, 11, and 21.
